HOW IT GOT STARTED
Hello World,
My name is Guy, I was born and raised in Tel Aviv, Israel.
In 2014 I bought my first stock - McDonald's (10 years later I became a vegan), and from that moment on, I was captivated by the freedom and ease with which every person can be a part of the largest and most influential companies in the world.
Curiosity has led me to continue studying and exploring the financial world and since then I spend my time reading about economy, finance, management and investment.
Through my research I became exposed to various investment methods such as "day tradering" (performing many actions during trading) and "value investors" (using in-depth analysis to evaluate financial products over short, medium and long terms). In addition, I was a witness to the fascinating response the financial market has made to some of the most influential moments in our history,e.g. the debt crisis in Europe between the years 2015-2016 and the COVID-19 crisis.
The vast experience I have gained has led me to formulate a convenient form of investment that suits my needs.
However, one of the key things I realized in my journey is that most people do not have sufficient financial knowledge to be exposed to the benefits of the capital market.
This is due, in my opinion, to a lack of appropriate education and misconceptions that stem more from psychological rather than rational reasons.
Unfortunately, this fact leads many people to losses and to the lack of realization of their financial potential.
This understanding led me to create this website.
It is part of my ambition to help people gain economical, and financial knowledge while establishing a community that will support its members autonomously.
Other than the world of finance, I enjoy reading mostly in the fields of science, computers, green energy, machine learning and robotics.
I love surfing the web to find new communities and partners from all over the world for new ideas and information sharing.
In my current job, I am a product manager at SolarEdge Technologies.
